

Pastor Adrian Jerome Grandy
Elder Adrian Jerome Grandy was born in Junction City, Kansas, and raised in Dudley, North Carolina, the eldest son of District Elder Woodrow Grandy, Jr. and Lady Evangeline George Grandy. He has been married to Lady Tiffany Gibbs Grandy for over 18 years and is the proud father of twins Kaitlin and David, age 17, and Justin and Jason, age 15. Elder Grandy received his education in the Wayne County Public School System. He attended Southern Wayne High School and East Carolina University as a North Carolina Teaching Fellow, receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Middle Grades with concentrations in reading and social studies in 2007. Elder Grandy also holds a Master of Arts in Teaching from Liberty University and a Master of School Administration from Queens University and holds both a NC Highly qualified teaching license and a principal’s license. He is a double doctorate candidate currently working towards completing his Educational Doctorate in Educational Leadership (Liberty University) and his Theology Doctorate in Educational Pastoral Leadership (Andersonville Theological Seminary), which he will complete in 2026!
Elder Grandy has worked as a school educator for over 20 years in both Wayne and Duplin Counties. He currently serves as an Assistant Principal at Warsaw Elementary School in Duplin County Schools. He has been preaching the gospel for 24 years and has served faithfully as a pastor in the Southern District Convocation, Goldsboro, NC, for the past 15 years. Elder Grandy was the pastor of the former Solid Rock United Holy Church in St. Pauls, NC, from 2011 until 2024. In February 2025, he served as Interim Pastor and was appointed to serve as Pastor of Gospel Light UHC in Mount Olive, NC. He is also the Vice-President of the Cape Fear District Union, serves as the Social Media Coordinator for the Clinton District Union, is a member of the Southern District Board of Presbytery, a member of the Southern District Marketing Team and Convocation Broadcast Host, is an Instructor for the Southern District Minster’s in training Program and a member of the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated. When asked what his goal in life is, he has been quoted as saying, "All I want to do is live my life so that God gets all the glory!”



First Lady Tiffany Grandy
Minister Grandy is the daughter of Elder Harris Gibbs and Evangelist Mary Anne Gibbs. She was born in Kenansville, NC, but grew up in Dudley, NC, with her younger sister. She also has four older brothers, two older sisters, four brother-in-laws, three living sisters-in-laws, two sister-in-laws, who are deceased, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Minister Grandy was educated in both Duplin and Wayne County schools, graduating from Southern Wayne High School in 2002. She went on to receive her bachelor’s degree in business management with a concentration in small business entrepreneurship at East Carolina University in May 2006. During her time there, she formed a small female ministry called “Girl Talk,” allowing for encouragement through the word with fellow female peers and acts of service within the local community.
She is currently employed at the University of Mount Olive, Mount Olive, NC, as an Assistant Director of Financial Aid and has served in higher education for almost 20 years. Minister Grandy received Christ at age 8. She also has served as a musician, choir member, choir director, and even as a praise dancer in her earlier years at the Lighthouse of Deliverance, Church of Christ Holiness Unto the Lord in Wallace, NC. She preached her initial sermon in October 2006 and has lived a life dedicated to serving the Lord ever since. After her union with Pastor Adrian, she later served as a first lady, a minister, as well as on the women’s ministry and youth ministry at Solid Rock UHC. She also aided in the choir and on the ministry team at St. Peter UHC in Magnolia, NC.
Minister Grandy currently serves in the choir and praise team at Gospel Light UHC. She also serves on the Women’s ministry and evangelism teams. Beyond the local church, Minister Grandy serves as the recording secretary for the SDC Home and Foreign
Missionary Department, as well as an office assistant in the Finance Department at Love Temple. Minister Grandy enjoys encouraging others. She also enjoys worship and writing worship songs, aspiring to one day produce these songs in hopes that they will minister
to the hearts and minds of many.
The Grandy Children
Their children, Kaitlin and David, are Seniors at North Duplin High School. Kaitlin cheers, sings, is a praise dancer, and a poet. She plans to attend East Carolina University after graduation, majoring in Elementary Education and School Counseling. David creates cartoons and animations. He plans to further his craft at the University of Mount Olive to major in Visual Arts and Design, focusing on 2D and 3D animation. Their sons, Jason and Justin, are sophomores at North Duplin and love using their musical talents, playing football, and basketball. Justin plays the drums and bass guitar, and Jason plays the keyboard and is working on the lead guitar. All have been blessed to maintain high academics within the school setting.
